i cant remember the name of that big science project - the geo-dome, or the earth-o-sphere where the people live in a self-contained dome with everything they could ever want, plants, animals, bars, whatever, i dont know what. well, my hotel in orlando was THIS PLACE. i arrived for my conference and they drove me out there. i saw it from the highway because it is an enormous monstrosity with nothing else around it for miles. i walked in the doors and i didnt start to go crazy until about 24 hours later. there were five restaurants, stores, a SHIP, many many plants and waterfalls, swimming pools, all living happily beneath a glass geo-dome. finally i decided i needed to go running outside, or just go outside, but there was no where to go. so, i ran around the geo-dome a couple of times. i think im still a little batty. and definitely afraid of the future.
